Research Activities
Due to the proximity to clinical facilities of the Charité and the Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Havelhöhe, we are experienced in the implementation of clinical projects, especially in the field of internal medicine and oncology. In addition, we are increasingly focusing on Real World Data, the analysis and evaluation of hospital data, patient surveys, clinical studies and evaluations of anthroposophic therapies. In addition, special clinical studies on multimodal therapy concepts and medicines are also carried out.
Evaluation of multimodal integrative therapy concepts
In addition to drug therapy, there are a large number of non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPI) in the field of integrative and anthroposophic medicine. These include practicing procedures from exercise therapy (yoga, Bothmer gymnastics, eurythmy, etc.), artistic therapy (speech, music and painting therapy, plasticizing, etc.) and so-called external applications (wraps, embrocations / organ rubs, rhythmic massages, pressel massages; oil dispersion baths, baths). Usually these complementary (additional) procedures are combined with conventional therapy methods to create meaningful integrative multimodal therapy concepts. The aim of the working group is to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of such integrative multimodal therapy concepts.
In doing so, such multimodal therapy applications in the fields of gastroenterology, integrative oncology, pain and palliative therapy as well as rehabilitative geriatrics are examined in their everyday use (Real World Data).
